Olivia Colman  

Oscar-winning actor Olivia Colman became Patron of Anthony Nolan in 2018, having previously lost a close friend to leukaemia. Olivia actively campaigns for Anthony Nolan through voiceovers, speeches, press and attendance at various events, such as the Daisy Ball and our Christmas Carols.  

Kellie Shirley  

Actress and Anthony Nolan ambassador Kellie Shirley ran the London Marathon with #TeamAN in 2014, and a year later donated her twins’ cord blood after giving birth in King’s College Hospital in London, one of our five collection centres.  

Joe Crowley  

TV presenter and Anthony Nolan ambassador Joe Crowley is sadly all too familiar with blood cancer, after losing his father to multiple myeloma. Joe has hosted Anthony Nolan’s Daisy Ball and has also run the London Marathon with #TeamAN. 

Dr Ranj  

TV presenter and NHS doctor Dr Ranj Singh is a huge advocate of the lifesaving work Anthony Nolan does, and has supported several appeals to find matching stem cell donors for patients over the last few years.  

Tom Austen 

Actor Tom Austen is a proud supporter of Anthony Nolan. Tom has been on the stem cell register for a few years now, and has seen first-hand the incredible work Anthony Nolan does.  

Ria Hebden 

TV presenter Ria Hebden joined the stem cell register several years ago. Last year, Ria got an exciting call to say that she was potential match for someone in need of a stem cell transplant.   

Nish Kumar 

Comedian Nish Kumar is a proud supporter of our charity and has been involved with a few Anthony Nolan events, including being the host of the 2019 ANSAs, which were held at the Tower of London. 

Trudy Kilcullen  

Trudy Kilcullen is the Chief Executive of the Jack Petchey Foundation. The Jack Petchey Foundation has worked with Anthony Nolan since 2011 to deliver the wonderful Hero Project education programme, encouraging young people to become lifesaving potential stem cell donors.  

Rupert Cross  

12-year-old Rupert Cross had a stem cell transplant after he was diagnosed with a blood disorder six years ago. Anthony Nolan found Rupert a lifesaving stem cell donor, a young man named Billy. Billy and Rupert met, who he now calls his superman, for the first time two years ago. 

Jo Kelly  

Jo Kelly had a stem cell transplant over a decade ago, after being diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma when she was 22.  Anthony Nolan found a matching stem cell donor for Jo and she has now been cancer free for eight years. Jo was also able to meet her incredible donor Stefan for the first time last year.  

Simon Dyson  

Life President of Anthony Nolan, Simon Dyson, has been involved with the charity for 35 years and has experienced the passion and support of our volunteers for decades.  

Dr Neema Mayor 

Head of Immunogenetics Research at Anthony Nolan, Dr Neema Mayor, knows first-hand how revolutionary our research work is in saving the lives of people with blood cancer.  

Josh Widdicombe  

Comedian Josh Widdicombe first became involved with Anthony Nolan’s work when he performed at a comedy gig for Anthony Nolan in 2018, which was organised by the late Kathryn Cartwright.   

Veer Gudhka  

Four-year-old Veer was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder, Fanconi anemia, three years ago. He is now currently waiting for a matching stem cell donor who can give him a second chance of life.  

Lucy Siegle  

Journalist and broadcaster Lucy Siegle has been a proud supporter of Anthony Nolan for many years. She was the host of the 2018 ANSAs which were held at the Tower of London, and she is looking forward to running the London Marathon for Anthony Nolan this year.  

Henny Braund  

Henny Braund is the very proud Chief Executive of Anthony Nolan, and has been working with staff, supporters and volunteers to save the lives of people with blood cancer for twelve years.  

Carrie Hope Fletcher  

Actress and author Carrie Hope Fletcher joined the stem cell register in 2018 and one day hopes to receive a call to say that she is someone’s lifesaving match.
