You could give someone like Heidi another chance to live
Nine-year-old Heidi from Sheffield was first diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) in 2022. In November last year, after twenty-seven months of gruelling treatment, she finally got to ring the end-of-treatment bell. But two days before her ninth birthday, after feeling unwell, doctors confirmed Heidi had relapsed and may need a stem cell transplant one day.

We just want it to work. We want it to be the best chance possible. Not just for her – there are other children, other people waiting for transplants as well. I just want to get as many people on the register as possible.
