You could give someone like Jake another chance to live
42-year-old father-of-two Jake from Queensland has been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma for the third time. He’s started immunotherapy treatment but is likely to need a stem cell transplant to save his life.
He says, ‘The process of finding a donor has already begun. My brother Ben and sisters Lara and Jackie weren’t a match. There's no complete match on the Australian donor register or worldwide.’ Now he’s appealing for people to sign up to the stem cell register.

Being my third time through the cancer journey, I’ve had lots of time to reflect on what having a chance at survival means. Beating cancer the first time meant I got to fall in love. Beating cancer the second time meant I got to meet my kids. Beating cancer this time would mean that I get to keep being a dad and, hopefully one day, play with my grandchildren.
