The Hero Project is a nationwide programme run by the blood cancer charity, Anthony Nolan. It’s our mission to educate 16 to 18-year olds about stem cell, blood and organ donation, and show them that they could help save a life.
We’d love to invite your school to get involved with The Hero Project, because together, we can give every student the opportunity to learn about their lifesaving potential.
How can your students become lifesavers?
The Hero Project volunteer presenters, often with their own powerful personal stories to tell, will come into your school, for free, at a time that fits in with your timetable and deliver presentations to inspire students to sign up to the stem cell register.
Working with students aged 11 to 16? We have collaborated with NHS Blood and Transplant to produce free curriculum-linked teaching resources on stem cell, blood and organ donation for Key Stage 3 and 4.
