Due to government advice, the Daisy Ball 2020 will no longer be going ahead.

The Daisy Ball is a huge event in the Anthony Nolan calendar, and we were so excited to be creating the best night yet – all to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds to give people with blood cancer a future full of hope. The funds that the Daisy Ball raises have a phenomenal impact, so to lose this year’s event is devastating. But the health and wellbeing of our community, including wonderful supporters like you, must come first.

We are living in extraordinary times. And there’s something extraordinary you can do to help.

The coronavirus pandemic is causing anxiety and frustrations for us all. But for blood cancer patients who can’t wait any longer for a stem cell transplant, this time is absolutely critical.

So, we’re pulling out all the stops. But we urgently need more help.

Instead of getting involved in the Daisy Ball this year, you can get involved in something phenomenal –  Anthony Nolan’s Coronavirus Emergency Appeal. Right now, we’re having to take immediate action to ensure lives are saved. From increased health checks on our donors, to battling with travel restrictions and border closures to ensure cells get to the patients who desperately need them to survive.

Patients’ lives are depending on us, now more than ever. And you can help.

We need to raise a substantial amount of additional money to fund this urgent work, alongside the money we need to raise every single day to save lives.

Your donation could help fund our ‘Handover Hubs’, like the one we’ve established at Heathrow Airport, open 24 hours a day to ensure that stem cells can be handed from international couriers having to go into quarantine, to UK volunteers for the final lifesaving leg.

Anthony Nolan is a charity founded on the kindness of people coming together, and right now, we need your kindness more than ever.

Your donation towards Anthony Nolan’s Coronavirus Emergency Appeal will have a huge lifesaving impact for our patients.  We do hope you will be able to support us.
