What is AN Connect?
AN Connect is a brand-new web portal that will facilitate all patient typing, search, verification typing, extended typing and work-up requests in future.
Why is it important?
AN Connect has been designed to remove outdated manual processes and streamline communications, freeing up more time for you to focus on patients and clinical work.
How will it affect you?
If you submit patient typing, search, verification typing, extended typing and work-up requests to us then you will do this in a centralised system rather than by email, giving you greater visibility of your requests and our processes. As we develop the web portal even more, we’ll keep you updated on what this means for you and how you work.
What's the timeline?
AN Connect went live in our first centre in December 2023. This is a key milestone for us and marks the beginning of work to rollout AN Connect to all UK transplant centres by the end of summer 2024.
