Anthony Nolan wants to build the biggest and best team possible for the Virgin Money London Marathon in 2014. To do this, we need people to enter the ballot for a chance to secure their own marathon place and be part of our lifesaving team.

You can give yourself the best chance of making it to the starting line by entering the official public ballot for 2014 on Monday 29 April 2013 at www.virginlondonmarathon.com – please remember to tick the Anthony Nolan box.

In the past few years, the ballot has opened and closed in under 24 hours and attracted over 125,000 entrants. The ballot opens in the early hours of Monday 29 April.

The most important thing to remember about the ballot is that it opens and closes very quickly and you should enter the ballot as early as you can on Monday 29 April 2013.

A lot of people will be trying to enter the ballot at the same time, so you may need to try several times before you get through to the form. Please keep trying.

We have more advice on the ballot process at .

If you miss out on the ballot, Anthony Nolan also has a limited number of charity places which you can apply for at www.milebymile.org.

If you have any questions about applying for a place in the marathon, please get in touch with the Anthony Nolan events team on 0303 303 3000 or email londonmarathon@anthonynolan.org. We’re more than happy to answer any questions that you have.
