Dear supporter,

Inspired by the thousands who pounded the pavements last weekend? Come and join me on the start line running the Virgin Money London Marathon in aid of blood cancer charity Anthony Nolan, the race’s Official Charity partner.

I’m looking for enthusiastic individuals to enter the ballot on the 29th April for a chance to take part in the experience of a lifetime.

Anthony Nolan runs the UK’s bone marrow register and saves the lives of people with blood cancers like leukaemia and lymphoma every single day. Last year the charity gave over 1,000 people the chance of life by matching them with bone marrow donors.

I’m urging anyone thinking about running the marathon – either as a first timer or a running vet – to enter the ballot on 29th April and select the Official Virgin Money London Marathon Charity Anthony Nolan. Visit www.virginlondonmarathon.com to enter the ballot online or www.milebymile.org to apply for one of Anthony Nolan’s guaranteed places.

In return, the fantastic team at Anthony Nolan will offer you great support, and promise they’ll go the extra mile to get you over that finish line.

By running as part of Team Anthony Nolan, you can help cure blood cancer mile by mile. The year 2014 is going to be a memorable one for the charity as it celebrates its fortieth anniversary, and a big year for me.

Hope to see you at the starting line!
