How do I get to UCLH?

We recommend travelling by public transport if possible. If you need to drive, please remember to pay the congestion charge and ULEZ  charge, if necessary. We’ve included details below. 

Arriving by public transport

London Underground

There are a few London Underground tube stations near UCLH. They are all about a 5-10 minute walk away: 

  • Warren Street (Victoria and Northern lines) 
  • Euston Square (Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines) 
  • Goodge Street (Northern line) 
  • Euston (Victoria and Northern lines) 

National Rail

  • Euston is the closest train station to UCLH. It’s about a 10 minute walk. 
  • King’s Cross St Pancras is about a 20 minute walk, 5-10 minute tube (Victoria, Circle, Hammersmith & City, or Metropolitan line), or 15 minute bus (number 205, 390 or 73 from St Pancras International bus stop A to University College Hospital/Warren Street). 
  • Paddington is about 5 minutes on the tube (Circle, Hammersmith & City, or Metropolitan line), or 25 minutes on the bus (number 27 from bus stop H to Warren Street Station). 
  • Victoria is about 10 minutes on the tube (Victoria line). 
  • Charing Cross is about 10 minutes on the tube (Northern line), or 20 minutes on the bus (number 24 or 29 from bus stop C to Warren Street Station). 
  • Waterloo is about 15 minutes on the tube (Northern line). 
  • Liverpool Street is about 15 minutes on the tube (Circle, Hammersmith & City, or Metropolitan line). 
  • London Bridge is about 20 minutes on the tube (Northern line). 

Bus

There are lots of buses which stop at UCLH. You can find your best journey using the TfL journey planner. 

Arriving by car

NCP London Bloomsbury Square is the nearest car park. It’s open 24 hours and we recommend you pre-book. 

Congestion charge

UCLH is within the London Congestion Charge zone. It’s £18 per day if paid on the day or in advance.

Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)

Anthony Nolan will reimburse Congestion and ULEZ charges. 

Where do I go when I arrive?

When you arrive, go through the atrium on the Ground Floor and head towards the lift. Take the lift to the 4th Floor and introduce yourself to the Supportive Care Reception. 

 

Other useful information

Light meals, drinks and snacks will be provided for you by the UCLH team. 

There are plenty of places to eat near the hospital, especially on Tottenham Court Road and Great Portland Street.
