Donors who are currently pregnant may join the register, but cannot donate if any of the following apply:

1. Currently pregnant
2. Less than one week has passed for every completed week of a recent pregnancy up to 6 months. After 6 months post-partum women may donate but check whether still breast feeding
3. Less than three months have passed since a first trimester miscarriage
4. The pregnancy resulted in a malignant hydatidiform mole
5. The pregnancy resulted in a non-malignant hydatidiform mole and treatment and follow-up is ongoing
6. If less than 7 days from the last dose of methotrexate.
