Following news from Buckingham Palace, announcing the death of The Duchess of Kent at the age of 92, Henny Braund MBE, Chief Executive of Anthony Nolan says:
“We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of The Duchess of Kent. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this time of great loss.
“After becoming Royal Patron in 1992, she opened The Anthony Nolan Research institute in 1996, and we will always be thankful for the way she championed our lifesaving work. We will remember her unwavering commitment to public service and her generosity of spirit.”
