Anthony Nolan's partnership with Omaze has raised £3.7 million to support the charity's work. In response, Henny Braund MBE, Chief Executive of Anthony Nolan said:
“We know just how precious time is with the people we love and we’re thrilled that our partnership with Omaze has raised an incredible £3.7 million for Anthony Nolan, helping us get lifesaving stem cells to people with blood cancers and blood disorders.
“We’re so grateful to Omaze and everyone who entered for playing their part in the race against the clock to give people in need of a transplant more time with their loved ones.”
The money raised by the Omaze community will fund the running costs of the Anthony Nolan Cell Collection Centre for the next 18 months, meaning 1850 more stem cell donations can take place, and ultimately, meaning an additional 1850 chances to give someone another chance of life.
