Anthony Nolan is one of 12 charities being generously supported by Peter Kay’s 2026 tour.

Everyone at Anthony Nolan is hugely grateful to comedian Peter Kay following his announcement that all profits from his arena tour shows in 2026 will support 12 charities, including Anthony Nolan.

Not only will his incredibly generous fundraising effort create a meaningful impact to our work, but it will also raise awareness of the ongoing and ever-urgent need for potential stem cell donors. Peter’s involvement helps bring attention to the people we’re here to help, those living with blood cancer and blood disorders who are searching for a match that could save their life.

Every day, Anthony Nolan is giving four people a second chance of life and every year we facilitate around 1,100 stem cell transplants for patients in the UK from an unrelated donor. A stem cell transplant is a second chance for many patients, yet finding a matching donor can be incredibly difficult.

Every additional person who joins the register increases the possibility that someone, somewhere, will get the call they’ve been hoping for.

By lending his voice, and his laughter, Peter is helping more people understand just how simple it can be to take the first step toward potentially saving a life.

Nicky Read, Chief of Fundraising at Anthony Nolan, said: “We’re extremely grateful to Peter Kay who, through choosing to support Anthony Nolan, is supporting people affected by blood cancer and blood disorders.

Fundraising like this helps us to add new lifesavers to the register, provide specialist post-transplant nurses, conduct groundbreaking research, and be there to provide important information to patients and their families during the most difficult of times.

Peter’s shows bring enormous joy to so many and it’s wonderful that they will also bring hope and life-saving opportunities to people who really need themThank you, Peter.”

Announcing his support on the One Show, Peter Kay said: “It’s been the greatest privilege of my life to perform for audiences up and down the country. I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the support over the years, and it feels right to give something back.

Every single penny of profit from these final shows will go to help fight cancer and support those affected. Unfortunately, just about everyone knows someone who’s been affected by one of the cancers on that list. I really hope people can get behind this — come out, have a great night, share a few laughs, and do something good for charity at the same time. It’s a win – win.

You don’t even have to like me — raising money for these twelve charities goes far beyond that. Together, we really can make a difference.”

The charities set to benefit are: Anthony Nolan, Children With Cancer UK, Teenage Cancer Trust, Kidney Cancer UK, Blood Cancer UK, Bowel Cancer UK, Prostate Cancer UK, DKMS UK, Ovarian Cancer Action, Pancreatic Cancer UK, The Brain Tumour Charity, and Breast Cancer UK.
