Anthony Nolan is proud to announce that our chief executive, Henny Braund, has been elected President-Elect of the World Marrow Donor Association (WMDA). The appointment follows a vote by WMDA’s international membership and has now been formally ratified by the Membership Board.
This prestigious role recognises Henny’s long-standing leadership within the stem cell transplantation community and her commitment to improving outcomes for patients worldwide.
WMDA plays a central role in setting global standards, sharing knowledge and connecting professionals from every part of the stem cell donor and transplant pathway. to ensure patients can access the best possible match, wherever they are. Its work underpins the global collaboration that makes lifesaving transplants possible every day.
