Having a bone marrow or stem cell transplant is a starting point on the road to recovery. Leaving hospital for the first time after your stem cell transplant can be exciting, but also daunting.
Your transplant team will make sure you leave the hospital well-equipped to look after yourself. You’ll be checking in with them at regular appointments during the first year and they’ll keep an eye on your health for a number of years.
