At Anthony Nolan, we support patients who want to share information about their stem cell transplant on social media, or by speaking to the press.
This can be a powerful way of raising awareness and encouraging new donors to sign up to the register and save lives.
However, we do ask you to not share any personal or identifiable information about the donor (e.g. location, age, gender).
If you have already communicated with your donor anonymously for more than two years, you may share this information freely, as long as permission has been given by the donor.
Our anonymity policy protects both the donor and recipient in accordance with United Kingdom Regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact the patient team at firstname.lastname@example.org
