Anthony Nolan’s patient and family education days will help you learn more about looking after your health, well-being and finances.
Over the course of the day you’ll hear from experts, find out about the latest research developments and meet other patients to share tips and hear positive stories. You’ll also get tips on exercise, diet and other practical support.
We evaluate our education days, and we’ve found that they can:
‘I am so glad I came last Friday. I was very nervous about it, but I can't even put into words the reassurance and hope I felt from meeting people who have been where we are now and have come through it. We don't know anybody else who has had a transplant, so to see that happy, normal lives can be achieved was very inspiring and I really hope that my husband will get to attend something similar one day in the future.’
The days are aimed at adult post-transplant patients and close family members or friends, although parents and pre-transplant patients are welcome to attend.
Our next planned education day is on Friday 17th March 2017, 9.30am–4pm at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre, Birmingham. To find out more and sign up, email Madalena Almada at firstname.lastname@example.org.
