Today is a very exciting day – not only do the Olympics finally start, but after months of hard work we’re launching our Write an Essay, Save a Life competition, giving students the chance to win a two-week internship in the Daily Telegraph’s editorial team.
We’ve teamed up with the Telegraph and UCAS “StudentsLive” show to launch the competition, which opens this morning and runs until midnight on 30th September 2012. To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll need to submit a 200 word essay on the subject; “Why you should join the Anthony Nolan blood stem cell register”, and you’ll also need to make a £10 donation to Anthony Nolan, which will help us continue our lifesaving work.

Not only will one lucky student win the rare opportunity to experience first hand how one of the finest newspapers in the world is put together, but the real value lies in the exposure and funds raised for Anthony Nolan.”
