We’re Anthony Nolan and we save the lives of people with blood cancer who need a stem cell transplant.
We’re unique. Thanks to the incredible donors on our register, our pioneering research and our passionate fundraisers, we give the chance of life to three people a day.
But we won’t stop there. We want to be there for everyone who needs a transplant; from finding a match, through every step of a patient’s transplant journey. And together we can reach the remarkable day when we can save the lives of everyone with blood cancer.
And now we want you to join our lifesaving team. We are looking for a Special Events Intern to join our fundraising team for a fixed term 12-week contract, starting early March.
You’ll be responsible for helping to deliver the Daisy Ball, which is Anthony Nolan’s largest black-tie fundraising event. This event takes place on Saturday 11 May in London and will welcome over 500 high-net worth individuals and corporates for an evening full of entertainment to help raise significant income for the charity.
As a proactive and flexible individual, you will manage key stakeholder relationships, assist with logistics for the event and also support with key fundraising aspects such as prize generation.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will work well under pressure and have the ability to prioritise your work and meet deadlines. You will also show the willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
This role runs from the beginning of March to the end of May. To apply for this role you must be available to work in this time period.
Release your remarkable, join our team and give someone a chance of life.
