Hadrian’s Wall originally ran from the east to west coast of the UK, spanning 72 miles.
Today only parts of this landmark, cutting through Northumberland National Park, are left. During your trek, you’ll walk 25 miles along the only remaining sections of the wall, starting at Lanercost Priory.
You’ll admire ancient monuments, beautiful scenery and the skill of the Roman engineers who built the wall, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll camp at a lovely site just outside the town of Haltwhistle.
