"Hazel's transplants truly gave her a second chance in life." - Alice, Hazel's mum
Since our story began in 1974, when Shirley Nolan set up the world’s first stem cell register for her three-year-old son, Anthony, we have done so much to transform the lives of people with blood cancer.
Thanks to ongoing research, help from our wonderful supporters, incredible stem cell donors and amazing people like you leaving gifts in their wills, we have given more than 18,000 people a second chance of life. We are committed to a future in which:
Everyone who needs a stem cell transplant can find a matching donor
Everyone gets the dedicated support they need after transplant
No one dies as a result of post-transplant complications
With your support, we will be one step closer to transforming the lives of future generations with blood cancer.
