Hardeep Singh - 1 Man - 2 Cities - 3000 Donors

Oh hi there. Yes, I’m Hardeep Singh Kohli and I’m on a mission. A mission to recruit 1000 donors to the Anthony Nolan register in Birmingham.

Why? I hear you cry. Well, every 23 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. But quite brilliantly it can often be treated. Treated with a blood stem cell or bone marrow transplant. And that’s where Anthony Nolan steps in: to find the right stem cell match for a person.

So I’ll be hitting the streets of Birmingham in search of healthy young men. And what do you need to do if you are? Spit. No not at me, into a test tube. And that’s it. You’ll be on the register and could potentially save someone’s life. Look out for me. I’ll probably be wearing a turban. Hit play to find out more.
