Amy's story
I donated my stem cells in 2018 to give someone a second chance of life, and wanted to fundraise to continue playing my part! I decided to take on swimming the English Channel with a team of friends – we’re called Maggie’s Mermaids. We completed the swim in 15 hours and 17 minutes, and raised almost £10,000! We had the time of our lives taking on the challenge and feel immensely proud to have raised so much money for such an incredible charity.
