For someone with a blood cancer, a stem cell transplant may be their only hope of recovery. We make sure that when we do find a match, we’ve done everything to ensure the procedure is a success. That’s why we have such strict criteria for potential donors, in terms of general health and medical history. To help us work out if you’re suitable, please fill out our application form. It takes less than 10 minutes to apply.
Before you apply, please carefully consider that you understand what you’re committing to. Apart from being a lifelong commitment, it costs us more than £100 to process every application so it’s important you feel fully comfortable. We also recommend discussing your decision with close friends and family.

Completing the online application form is the most cost efficient way for us to sign up potential donors, but if you would rather complete a paper form, you can request an application pack.
What happens next?
If you’re suitable to join the register, we’ll send you a saliva testing kit. You use this to send us back a sample which we test to see what tissue type you are. We’ll then confirm your place on the register and send you a registration card.
