Student groups - Marrow
We’re Marrow, the student group that aims to save lives from blood cancer.
We work alongside Anthony Nolan to help recruit people to the register, which links potential donors with people who desperately need a stem cell transplant. We’re in 40 universities throughout the UK and in 7 other countries, but we want to grow and expand. With more supporters like you, we can help save twice as many lives.
How do we do it?
We organise student recruitment events and fundraise for Anthony Nolan. We’ve been running in the UK since 1998. The project was initially set up by James Kustow and group of student doctors from the University of Nottingham following the death of a friend from leukaemia. Since then we’ve gone from strength to strength and our work has been recognised by the World Health Organisation’s Federation for Medical Students. Find out how you can get involved.
