Our lifesaving work is only possible thanks to our supporters.
We are able give two people a day the chance of a lifesaving stem cell transplant. But there are a further two people everyday who we can't help because we simply don't have the funds. With more funds we could recruit more people to our register, match more donors to people in need and save more lives.
What your support means to the people we help
"I don’t think words can explain how utterly amazing it is for us and how eternally grateful we’ll be – this person saved our son’s life." John Oldham, Ollie's Dad
When Ollie (left) was two months old he was diagnosed with myelodysplasia, a rare form of leukaemia. He needed a transplant of healthy stem cells from a donor who was the same tissue type - he needed a match. We searched our register and found someone with matching stem cells. Ollie had his transplant in February 2007 and is now doing fine.
Please support us today to help us save more people like Ollie who desperately need a stem cell transplant to survive.
What your money can do:
£20 could help towards the storing a potentially lifesaving umbilical cord blood sample.
£50 could help to recruit a new potential donor to our register and testing their tissue to see if they are a match for a someone in need.
Please give a donation today to help grow our register and save more lives. It's quick, easy and secure.
