Leominster resident takes on marathon challenge for his Dad

Leominster resident Jordan Baxter is facing the challenge of a lifetime when he lines up for this year’s London Marathon, which takes place on 17 April. He will be running for Anthony Nolan, a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer who need a blood stem cell, or bone marrow, transplant.

Football Supporters' Federation tells fans to start spitting

Fans’ group the Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) has called on supporters to get spitting – but this time it’s for a good cause - to help the fight against blood cancers, such as leukaemia. It has never been easier for supporters to do their bit in the battle against the disease and the FSF has teamed up with the charity, Anthony Nolan, to highlight this.

Southend resident takes on Great North Run for Anthony Nolan

Southend resident Mark Heasman will be swapping the south of England for the north when he takes part in this year’s Great North Run on 18 September. He and nine friends are raising money for Anthony Nolan, a pioneering charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer who need a blood stem cell, or bone marrow, transplant.
